Christmas Holiday by Li Kai Nam John, Class 5D
During Christmas holiday, I went to Japan with my family. I made a new friend there. His name is David. He is very kind and friendly. He’s from Hong Kong too! He has lived in Japan for two years because his parents need to work in Japan. He introduced us many famous places and Japanese culture. It was a very interesting experience. I love Japan very much. Unlike Hong Kong, the streets in Japan are very clean because of the well-established government policy. And most of Japanese have a sense of being environmental friendly. Therefore, I hope everybody can learn from the thoughtful Japanese!

A Letter about Chinese New Year by Yeung Chun Hong, Class 4D
Dear Amy,
How are you? On Chinese New Year’s Eve, I had my reunion dinner with my parents. Mum gave me two red packets. On Chinese New Years’ Day, we ate turnip cakes and visited our relatives. After that, we watched the parade and the lion dance. At night, we went to a flower market. We bought a big windmill and a mandarin tree. What did you do at Chinese New Year?
See you soon!

Dear Amy,
Hello! I visited my relatives and had my reunion dinner with them at Chinese New Year. I visited my grandmother and grandfather in the morning. At night, my family and I went to a flower market. The flowers were beautiful! On the Chinese New Year’s Day, we had a big dinner again. It was delicious! In the evening, we watched fireworks together! It was wonderful!
