The Miller and His Son - Reflection, Class 6C

I like the donkey most because it was good tempered and hard-working.
If I were the miller, I would not believe the villagers.
I have learnt that we should trust ourselves.
~ Siu Long Ching Sammi
My favourite character is the donkey because it was very cooperative and it listened to the miller. It is hard to find an animal like it.
If I were the millers' son, I would say, "Dad, don't listen to them. It is comfortable and we are fine!"
I learnt that we must not believe others easily. We should think twice before believing a person.
~ Tao Chi Yin Karen
I like the villager most because he cared for the animals.
If I were the miller, I would let my son ride on the donkey because he was young and tired.
In this story, I have learnt that we should be firm. We shouldn't always listen to others and change our mind.
~ by Ma Yuk Yi
I like the son most because he was a filial boy. He went to market and helped his father to carry the donkey.
If I were the son, I would not go to the market with my father. I would play with my friends.
I learnt that we don't need to listen to other people all the time because they may be wrong.
~ Poon Tsz Chung Thomas
My favourite character is the donkey because it carried the miller and his son even if it was tired.
If I were the donkey, I would not carry the miller and his son.
I have learnt that we should not believe others easily. We have to think before we act.
~Chan Uen Yin Michelle
I like the donkey most because I think he was so poor that he had a silly master.
If I were the miller's son, I would say to my dad, "Stop doing the silly things, my dear Dad! I am so disappointed that I have to do something stupid! Tying up the donkey's legs will make it more comfortable!"
I learnt that we cannot believe other people easily.
~ Man Lok Yee Mandy
My favourite character is the donkey because it was helpful.
If I were the donkey, I would kick the miller, his son and the villagers and run away!
I learnt that sometimes we should not listen to others.
~Kelvin Wong
My favourite character is the donkey. It was hard-working.
If I were the donkey, I would not follow the foolish master.
I have learnt that we should not change our mind too often. Do not always believe others! Believe in ourselves.
~Ng Ka Po Kary
I like the donkey most because it was hard-working and quiet. It was helpful and cooperative because it did not kick when the miller and his osn sat on its back.
If I were the donkey, I would go away when the miller and his son were taking a rest. I would like to have more freedom.
After I read the story, I have learnt that we should care about others' feeling and we should not always believe others.
